On days I don’t feel like spending much time on my makeup (let’s be honest, most days), I try to make it as easy as possible when applying my blush and bronzer. I’m not a pro on contouring, but I find using a powder bronzer with the magic 3 technique and adding a little blush to the apples of my cheeks really livens up my face when I need a pick-me-up.
Real Techniques Blush Brush and Expert Face Brush
When I found Real Techniques’ line of brushes I fell in love with these two specifically. They are under $10 each and are both soft and dense enough to serve their purpose. I find the blush brush to be the perfect amount of fluff to give me nice, natural looking color on my cheeks. I use the expert face brush for a quick contour of my cheekbones, jaw line, and temples– also known as the magic 3 technique.
Tarte Dollface Blush and Park Ave Princess Bronzer
I have always been a huge fan of Tarte products and these two really take the cake. I usually aim to spend as little money as I can on beauty products and though their $25-$30 price range isn’t what I’d usually pay, they have lasted me so long that I think the investment was well worth it. They’re both really pigmented and they match a warm, medium complexion perfectly. They’re also great if you’re looking to stay away from many of the added chemicals you find in drugstore makeup.
Let me know if you’ve tried these products before and what you think of them!
