Maryland Bed and Breakfast

Nick and I recently stayed at the Elkforge B&B in Maryland for our five year anniversary. It was a comfortable stay with buffet style breakfasts and an on-location spa where we got the best couples massage. I especially loved the nostalgic feel of the building and all its lovely adornments.

We were fairly close to the college town Newark, Delaware where we were able to find some really fresh food at Home Grown Cafe. We only did a small amount of hiking this trip since it was around the time of the Nor’easter, but I was definitely happy to get outside for a bit!

It was definitely a hidden gem, I was grateful to find it! Sometimes the nicest B+Bs are in the places you least expect them haha, this one was in the middle of nowhere in Maryland, luckily a lot of nature around though! You guys should find somewhere cozy with a fireplace, nothing beats cozying up by the fire! :)
